Cheap, but bad qualityMar 10, 2010 Very bad quiality, after 1 weeek of use the top cover piece was broken, but still working...
a waste of moneyMar 01, 2010 This product is not authorized to use the Toshiba bluetooth stack / drivers in windows. I tried and tried on several machines and they all have the same problem. The device is recognized as a bluetooth adapter but you will get an error about the driver. To authorize the Toshiba bluetooth stack you have to pay Toshiba $20-30. This product, in my opinion, is not worth the money. I was not able to find any way around this problem.
Great Product!Feb 18, 2010 I was a little skeptical when I saw this adapter being sold for $1. But I thought, "Hey, it's only $1, it's worth trying.". I was right. This thing works great! I didn't even need to install the software it came with. Windows detected it as soon as I stuck it in, and automatically set it up. I have already connected my phone and my Wii controller to it(great fun to mess around with, use the program GlovePIE to control it if you try this out), and have had no problems with either.
DisappointedFeb 17, 2010 All I wanted was a USB Bluetooth adapter for my current laptop. I thought the dongle would do the job. Maybe I'm not understanding the whole dongle thing, but it arrived with absolutely no instruction. Nor did it indicate that a specific software program was needed to work with it. I ended up paying close to $30 (euro, no less) for the program, something called Blue Soliel, so I could connect my Bluetooth equipped cell phone and sync it with my laptop.
I still don't know what it's doing, and every time I boot up the computer I get an error message that the Bluesoliel tray icon can't be found.
I hate giving a negative review. I'd much rather not say anything at all. But let's just say "caveat emptor" on this item and a lesson learned.
Perfect for what i neededFeb 11, 2010 I recently bought a bluetooth mouse without checking to see if my computer had bluetooth capabilities. I bought this since it was very inexpensive compared to an internal bluetooth adapter. The last mouse i owned had usb adapter that was about two inches long. This usb adapter is hardly noticable and i leave it connected all the time, including when i carry it in my backpack. The setup was alittle confusing only due to my computer's configuration but it was working in no time. The mouse and my blackberry connect to it with no problems. Great item at a great deal.
