1Mine also failed after just over 6 monthsOct 18, 2009

Battery worked great at the beginning, but after only about 60 charge cycles it is dying. Would not purchase another tenergy product.

1Seven months and outAug 31, 2009
By Eric W. Rowland
Very disappointed in the seven month lifespan. So much for 1,000 charge cycles. We probably use our Roomba twice a week, thus it lasted a whopping 56 cycles.

1Failed after 7 monthsJul 13, 2009
By J. Askew
The Tenergy replacement battery that I purchased worked well for 7 months and then failed. Unfortunately, the warranty is only for 6 months. The vendor I purchased from (Battery Superstore) offered free shipping on my next purchase, but was firm on the 6 month warranty.

Bottom line - The Tenergy batteries seem to have short lifespans. If they typically lasted a year, I suspect the warranty would have been made to match.

2Poor run time.Jul 06, 2011
By O. Nemeth
I received this battery promptly and happily put it into my Roomba, which had a dead battery. It started right up and worked quite well.

About 40 minutes later, my Roomba was dead again. The battery lasted only 40 minutes, when the product description claims it should run more than twice that. Either this is a dud battery or just a cheap ripoff.

Please don't claim that a battery has 3.3 Ah of battery capacity when it clearly does not. There wasn't even a label on the battery.

I can't recommend this product unless you're really strapped for cash.

EDIT:

After opening the battery, I can verify that the capacity is not the 3.3 Ah as advertised, but 2.6 Ah, more than 20% less capacity.

Not only this but the company that makes the batteries is called Golden Dragon Battery, based in China.

Shoddy product, false advertising, and reselling of other companies products makes me want to say with certainty that I would never buy from this company again.

40 minutes of actual actual run time vs 100 minutes advertised? NO THANKS

1Doesn't lastJun 24, 2011

I read the reviews and decided to try the battery anyway. It worked great for about a month or two and now does not charge at all anymore. Do not waste your money!
