5awesome setJul 29, 2010
I've been using these for the past month remodeling our house, and the drill and impact have plenty of power and are SUPER light-weight. The light even came in handy a few times.

5Top notch drill setJul 09, 2010
This is a great drill set, and I use the flashlight as well which makes it a great bargain. We just finished building a deck and used both drills throughout the project. Including pre-drilling and screwing the boards in. My buddy is a pro and uses an 18V Dewalt. He was very impressed with the power and quick-charge capability. He was impressed with the battery capability and especially liked the LED and the fact that it stays on for a couple of seconds after you release the trigger.

I'm now considering expanding to the other bare tools.

5Makita cordless drill comboJul 09, 2010
Purchased for hubby's birthday. He absolutely loves it! I also find the drill very user-friendly as my hands have weakened with age and arthritis. He really likes the speed of the drill-driver.

5Great toolsJun 06, 2010
This combo pack, which I thought was pretty expensive, has proven in a very short time to be one of the best deals I've ever come across. I noticed the price has gone up about 20 bucks since I bought mine, but it's still well worth the money. The impact driver and drill are both quality products in so many categories. Tough, comfortable, strong and well engineered. Something I wasn't expecting was how good even just the flashlight is. It stands up by itself (the driver and drill do as well) and the head can be set to a variety of angles for hands free work. The brightness is amazing too. The only ding I can give this set is there are only 2 batteries, but 3 tools. I suppose I'll wind up springing for another battery before long.

I would highly recommend this deal to anyone who wants to move up to a quality cordless driver/drill. And a great flashlight.

5Built Makita ToughJun 05, 2010
I am a pro contractor and use my tools on a daily basis in a variety of applications. The drill is one of the best cordless models I have used. It would have benefited from a metal chuck but the plastic one is pretty durable. Plenty of torque for driving and more than enough speed for drilling. I can't say enough good things about the impact either. I used my Hilti hammer drill to drill 50 holes through a 2x12 and brick and then sunk 50 tapcons using the Makita Impact, all on one charge.
