Sellbuz is a great vendor. Stands behind their product. Liked it so much, I bought another!

By Anonymous I should have know better then to buy a no-named replacement battery for my Makita. This battery charged about three times and then no more.

By Tex Long Definitely recommend this battery.
My #3 son got a new portable Makita drill, and gave me his old one. I used it a little, but it was really slow and lacking in power. The batteries were shot, would NOT hold a charge. I went to buy a couple of new ones, and was pretty damned unhappy to find that the cost was nearly $200 for two, while a drill that looked to be the newer model of this one was on sale for just over $200, with two identical batteries, plus the case and of course a new brand-new drill... I don't have it with me as I write, so can't tell you the model, but it's a reversible 1/2 inch with a twist collet and a dial that looks to be torque settings, plus a screw/drive switch... if that helps. I was tempted to buy it, but decided to look for alternative batteries first, and found this one for $60 instead of $99. Got it a few days ago, charged it up with the old charger, and... the drill rocks - I did some free-form remodeling in my wife's stained glass studio to add 48" deep shelving for storing sheets of glass vertically, was a breeze, between not having to rassle a drill cord and easy swapping between drill and driver bits!
I'm back to order another of these Pexell's, since it's a higher AH battery at a better price - out of stock right now, but I'm eyeballing it and will definitely buy another as soon as they're available.
18V MAKITA REPLACEMENTJun 12, 2011
By CARPENTERATOR I own over 10 real makita batteries...half of which are now dying. They have been used daily from 2004 to present. I have purchase 4 other after market batteries and could tell the first time I used them they weren't going to be as good as the real deal, and they were not. So I decided to give it one last try and tried a different brand and seller and if it sucked again I was going back to Makita brand only. I received my new 18 volt replacement from pexell in 3 days...smoking fast since it came from the opposite end of the country.. I charged it, and I used it all day. I cut over 50 2x4 deck board ends off and some of which were at extreme angles. I took the battery out of my makita skill saw and used in in other tools and it still has not run low. It may sound too good to be true but take it from a guy who only uses 18v makita tools all day, its a great battery and I'm buying more. By the way, red batteries make my tools easier to find.
makita replacement batteryFeb 14, 2011
By tcc I ordered a pexell replacemernt battery for my makita 18v drill driver from Shopxtreme in early january. I did not receive the battery and contacted the company. The customer service rep was helpful, courteous and apologetic.
Within a week of our correspondence I had my battery. The product is every bit as good as the original and I anticipate using this vendor for more purchases based on their customer service and follow through.
