When I first plugged it in, it charged by Compatible Decoded Li-ion Battery for Canon BP-827 just fine. The next day, nothing. One day and it dies.

I bought this Canon compatible battery charger back in the end of September. Unfortunately I did not get around to opening and trying it just recently. It does not charge the batteries. Plugging it in produces a solid green LED indicator on the charger. Inserting a discharged battery does not change the indication in any way. I have left the battery in the charger for a full day and when I insert the battery back into my Vixia HF-S21 it has the exact same level of charge as it did when I placed it in the charger. Stay away from this one it is no good.
